Despite all its competing advice on how to raise well-adjusted little humans (or, if you're like me, how to care for your adult self),​ ​the parenting corner of the internet has seemingly found consensus on one framework​:​ gentle parenting.

If we have any hope of achieving a world without racism and white supremacy, it will come from raising anti-racist children and that process should start as soon as birth (if not well before).

Consequently, the grown-ups of our childhoods (our parents, caregivers, and teachers) were all just figuring stuff out, even as they were tasked with nurturing and guiding us. So, of course, they all failed at some point.
